Get SET – Saving Energy Together
Rugeley Power Station has developed the Get S.E.T. (Saving Energy Together) programme which is aimed at transforming Staffordshire primary school children into eco-warriors by showing them how to conserve energy at school.

Education staff from the Power Station have developed a free 5-session outreach programme for pupils aged 9-11 years. Over the course of five workshops an Education Officer works with a class to complete five Get SET missions culminating in a special “Get SET, Keep Cool” campaign week. Pupils record metre readings before and during the campaign week to see if they can successfully save energy in their school.
For further information please download the attached Get SET leaflet found below.
If you are interested in taking part in the Get SET Programme and your school lies within an approximate half-hour travel time of the Station please contact Katie Busfield at the Power Station on 07989 492768/01889 572100.
