The old power station site is transforming into a green neighbourhood for Rugeley — but what should it be called? We want to hear your ideas.
– Did the area used to be called something?
– Is there a local person we should celebrate?
– What about a forgotten story?
No idea too daft, share your name ideas online alongside a bit about why you think they’re good and where they’ve come from.
Deadline is 07/10/21. You can submit as many times as you like.

The Rugeley Power Station
redevelopment team will be hosting a community briefing event at the rose
theatre in Rugeley on Saturday 11th September 2021. The event is
intended to inform members of the local community of planned works taking place
at the ash lagoon area of the power station site from Q4 2021 and to give
members of the public notice of the works commencing.
The event will commence at 10:00 and is planned to finish no later than 12:00 with ample time included for questions. Refreshments will be provided.
Further details will be made
available online and via leaflet drops as these works progress. Members of the
public can contact us with any questions via communicationsUK@engie.com
